In case you missed the news, the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA) was held in Las Vegas, NV, earlier in the month. The exhibition is meant to highlight the most popular cars and trucks among accessorizing and showcasing enthusiasts. Before the event got underway, SEMA officials took stock of the number of new vehicles on display. Three Ford vehicles; Focus, Mustang, and F-Series; were the best represented in their particular segments. This earned them Hottest Car, Hottest Sport Compact, and Hottest Truck, respectively.

“Winning SEMA’s hottest vehicle awards for Mustang, Focus and F-Series is a great affirmation of the popularity of Ford vehicles with this trendsetting part of the market,” said Dave Pericak, director, Ford Performance, who accepted all of the honors at the annual awards breakfast. “We’re proud the aftermarket has embraced these three vehicles with as much enthusiasm as our customers invest to personalize their Mustang, Focus and F-Series.”

Mustang and F-Series have won the coveted award multiple times. However, this was the first win for Focus, a testament to its growing popularity with the aftermarket crowd.
