It was in a post late last year that we at Robin Ford first introduced you to our full-size SUV, the radically redesigned 2016 Ford Explorer.

And, if it's alright with you, we'd like to continue that conversation today. You see, for an auto as astonishing as this, once is not nearly enough.

Entry-level Explorers are outfitted with a 3.5-liter V6 that's rated at a robust 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic gearbox is standard, as is front-wheel drive. Ford does, however, offer an all-wheel drive system for those shoppers who so prefer it.
